Met up with S05 last week at Holland Village. Missed out luther's birthday in April cuz majority had exams that month. Haha. Whenever it's his birthday, it is usually the exam period. Suay la... So no choice, have to fix our gathering in May.
We dined in at Foster's English Rose Cafe. It is a small and cosy restaurant which has outdoor dining as well. The ambience is perfect for chilling out with friends; not too noisy and feels like we are in a lounge bar/restaurant. There was a live singer performing at a corner, which was just behind our table. Mag said she felt kinda weird that someone is singing directly behind her. Haha.

The price of the food is slightly more costly than the usual venues we dined at. Set dinner costs around $42++. But you can enjoy 20% discount if you have DBS or American Express C/C. The card promotion is not valid for Ala Carte dishes though, which ranges from $20 - $40+.
I had mixed grill and mushroom soup. In total, cost me $40. But it was worth the money with the nice ambience and food. And of cuz...most importantly, the great company! =)
After which, we had our dessert at Cold Rock ice creamery. This ice cream parlour is quite different from the usual places like Haagen Dazs, etc. Here, you get to choose a few flavours of ice cream and toppings, then the person will literally mix-and-smash the ice cream and toppings together. You will understand what i mean when you visit the place.
